Public land agencies that are interested in proposing a project should contact our Projects Team (projects@nmvfo.org) for more information and our easy-to-complete project proposal form.

  • Sugarite Canyon State Park

    Trail tread repair and erosion control along trails leading from the historic Coal Camp ruins to mines #2 and #3.

  • Morphy Lake State Park

    Cutting new trail through the forest on the south side of the lake.

  • Hermit’s Peak (Las Vegas RD)

    Camp at the USFS El Porvenir campground near Las Vegas, NM and help us maintain the Hermit's Peak trail, named for a 19th century religious recluse who lived in a cave near the peak.

  • Ute Lake State Park

    We’ll provide some much-needed maintenance to a 2-mile trail that winds through desert, in and out of arroyos, and along narrow canyons with views of the lake.

  • Pino Trail (Sandia RD)

    Join us for our annual maintenance and repair of NMVFO’s Adopt-A-Trail in the Sandia Wilderness. 10-person limit.

  • Guadalupe Ruins

    Repair tread and improve drainage along the 1/4-mile trail to the ruins
