SUMMARY: 8.7k feet to 11.4k feet, 3.6 miles
DESCRIPTION: Several parallel trails go from Hwy 150 (to Taos Ski Valley) to Lobo Peak Trail #57. This trail follows Italianos Canyon up the mountainside, with a small stream, and after a steep climb emerges into meadow.
GETTING THERE: On Hwy 150 into Taos Ski Valley, go to Italianos Campground.
CONDITIONS: In 2019 the lower trail was mostly cleared of downfalls, but remains steep.
