Rito Quemado Trail #157 (Pecos Wilderness)

Description: Join NMVFO on a car-camping project to clear downed trees, remove brush and improve the tread along the Rito Quemado Trail #157 in the Pecos Wilderness of the Santa Fe National Forest (SFNF). We will camp at the Borrego Mesa Trailhead. Breakfasts and dinners (except for Thursday evening) will be provided by NMVFO. Current Forest Service COVID-19 protocols will be employed. Specific details will be provided after you sign up.

Reminder: Pets are not allowed on NMVFO projects.

How to find us: Look for the green NMVFO signs starting at Forest Road 306 southwest of Cordova.
