Water Canyon Nature Trail (Magdalena RD)

RESULTS: Volunteers brushed and rehabilitated a nature trail near the Water Canyon picnic area, in the Magdalenas
Description: Join us for some needed maintenance on the Water Canyon Nature Trail in the Magdalena Mountains West of Socorro. We will focus on cutting back overgrowth that is obscuring the tread of the trail along a lush riparian area.
We will meet 8AM Saturday at the Water Canyon Campground which is approximately a 90 minute drive from the south side of Albuquerque, and
We have reserved the group site at the campground on Friday, for those of you who want to camp the night before, but meals will NOT be provided, so bring your own dinner and breakfast please.
There will be a limit of 20 people on this project. Participants should wear sturdy boots or work shoes, long pants, eye protection, gloves, and bring gear for rain. Bring your own pack lunch. NMVFO will provide all tools as required. Please note that pets are not allowed on this project.
