Socorro Bosque (FULL/Waitlist)

RESULTS: Approx. 30 volunteers cleared trash in the bosque, performed maintenance at three riverine parks, and rebuilt 0.8 miles of trail.

Description: Join us and our partners on the Save Our Bosque Taskforce (SOBTF) for a trail and park maintenance project in the Socorro Valley Bosque. Volunteers will clear trail corridors, improve picnic areas, replace trail signage, help mitigate fire risk, and collect trash in the vicinity of Bosque Park in Socorro, NM. All tools and supplies required will be provided.

We suggest that you wear boots, long pants, long sleeves, work gloves, hats, and eye protection (sunglasses okay) while working. Please bring your lunch, snacks, sunblock, and rain gear (if rain is expected), and water.

Difficulty: EASY
