Description: Join NMVFO as we improve the area around the Information Center of the Petroglyph National Monument in western Albuquerque. We’ll be trimming and pruning native plants and removing invasive and dead plants including dead tumbleweeds that have piled up. The areas we’ll be working in are different from the areas we improved last year. All tools will be provided.
We suggest that you wear boots, long pants, long sleeves, work gloves, hats, and eye protection (sunglasses okay) while working. Please bring your lunch, snacks, sunblock, and rain gear (if rain is expected), and water.
Reminder: Pets are not allowed on NMVFO projects.
