Landavaso Trail (Socorro BLM)

February 10 @ 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Contact Leader(s): Rob Selina, r.selina@nmvfo.org with any questions.

Description: Last September NMVFO teamed with Socorro Trails to build a multi-use (hike, bike, equestrian) 4.5 mile trail just north of Hwy 60 and the Magdalena airport, easy to get to and in a quite pretty area. (Google map) Now we return to join our Socorro/Magdalena friends and complete the far loop. The tread in that area is roughed-in, but needs finishing work and berm removal.

Volunteers should bring a daypack with lunch and water, and wear sturdy boots or work shoes (no sandals), long pants, hat, eye protection, gloves, and bring gear for rain.  Pets are not allowed on projects. Tread tools will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.

Difficulty:

Group Size: Up to 15.

This project is not quite finalized and ready for signups, so please check back in a week or two.
