Jemez Mountains Cleanup 2 (Jemez RD)

RESULTS: Partnering with New Mexico Wild the Jemez Ranger District for a cleanup along Forest Road 144 and 376 in Jemez. NMVFO collected 14 bags of trash along Forest Road 144, covering nearly 3 miles.
Description: Come join us as we partner with other outdoor-oriented organizations and the Jemez Ranger District for a cleanup on Saturday, September 16th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. We will be assigned a work location during the morning briefing (depending on what the need is at that time). We will probably work along FR 376 and the Rio Guadalupe. We will meet at the Jemez Ranger Station at 51 Woodsy Lane in Jemez Springs, NM 87025 Map at 9:00am to rendezvous, sign-in, and equipment pick-up then travel to one of the three locations. Please plan on bringing a lunch, water, snacks, work gloves, hat, and sunblock and be prepared for the possibility of rain.
