Encino Trail ADD-ON

April 14 @ 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Contact Leader(s): Don Lemke, d.lemke@nmvfo.org; Uwe Schroeter, u.schroeter@nmvfo.org with any questions.

RESULTS: Six volunteers tackled the lesser-known Encino Trail on the west side of the Manzano Mountains. The team installed a wilderness sign and climbed for 3.5 miles from 6200 feet to 8,800 feet to lop a heavily overgrown trail section about 0.5 miles from the crest.

What is an add-on? We organize several off-schedule short-notice word-of-mouth projects during the trail season. If you show up to a large number of projects, mention to your project leader that you are interested.
