Contact Jenny to be added to the wait list for our Pino project! We will meet at 8:00 AM at the Pino trailhead at Elena Gallegos Picnic Area for coffee, bagels, and a safety briefing, then hike approximately one mile to our work area. Our tasks will consist mainly of rock-work for erosion mitigation. All tools will be provided, as well as instruction throughout the day to people who are new to trail work. It is likely to be cold in the morning and hot in the afternoon, so dress in layers. Gloves, long pants, work gloves, sturdy work shoes and eye protection (sunglasses) are mandatory. Hard hats are also required for this project, and we will provide those. Please contact Jenny B with any questions! We’ll look forward to seeing you there.
